The Second Annual Mendon Station Festival presented
by the Mendon Foundation will be held on
Saturday, September 6, 2008, 11 AM – 5
PM and Sunday, September 7, 2008, 12 N – 5 PM.
Location: Mendon Station Park in the hamlet of Mendon at Routes 251
and 64 at the eastern trailhead of the Lehigh Valley Trail.
Music, Irish dancers, artists and crafters, 20-foot-tall inflatable
obstacle courses, Second Annual Honeoye Falls- Lima School Scholastic
Art Show and the annual parade of pets highlight this year’s
annual Mendon Station Festival. It features musical entertainment
for all the family, over 30 art and craft vendors, horse drawn wagon
and carriage rides down the scenic Lehigh Valley Trail. Returning
this year will be the popular musical acts “Bob Squad” and
the “Lehigh Valley Bones”. Visitors will enjoy a Civil War Re-enactment
demonstration and Boy Scout camping demonstrations. A variety of food
vendors will feature hand-spun maple sugar cotton candy, homemade
lemonade, Italian ice, premium hamburgers and hot dogs.
